2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage with twin trundle beds on the sun porch and in the living room. One bedroom has lovely double bed. The other has a queen sized bed.

The house is one block to the best beach on the Isle of Palms.  The neighborhood is quiet and congenial to both children and seniors.  Construction features include ceramic tile floors throughout the house and stained glass windows on the sun porch.  The exterior is traditional Lowcountry cypress board and batten; the deck is also cypress.  The yard is shaded by a number of cedars, palms, and live oaks.

This house is one of the most reasonably priced rentals on the Isle of Palms.  The owners, Mary and Morgan Maclachlan, have owned the property for more than 20 years and take a strong personal interest in the house's maintenance and in guests' comfort.

Special features of this property: Outside shower with both hot and cold water, ocean view sundeck, screen porch, phone, heat and air conditioning, Cable TV, dishwasher, high speed internet service, DVD, VCR, stereo, fully-equipped kitchen with microwave, washer, dryer, fenced back yard, and one bicycle.

The house is pet friendly with a $50.00 non-refundable pet deposit, up to a maximum of two.

What to do: On the Isle of Palms all beach activities, including surfing, are available. Canoeing, kayaking, golf and tennis are available year round.  Explore the historic homes, parks, and interesting restaurants and shops in nearby Sullivan's Island, Mt. Pleasant, and Charleston.  Charleston is less than 30 minutes away.

Rates:
$550.00 a week or $100 a night, with a three night minimum, before March 17th and after October 18th
$700.00 a week or $150 a night, with a three night minimum between March 15th and May 17th and between August 16th and October 18th
$1050 a week, between May 17th and August 16th.
$100.00 deposit.

Check in time is 2:00 PM. Check out time is 11:00 AM.
